It's not only what you know. It's how you teach it.
Your decks hold years of judgement about how to make difficult ideas land with real students. That's something AI companies can't find anywhere else.
How you sequence ideas
The order you build a topic in, from first principles to hard cases, is a method refined over many semesters.
How you explain
Your examples, analogies and diagrams show how to make a hard subject clear, which is exactly what AI models struggle with.
Your voice, in the notes
Speaker notes capture what you actually say in the room. That's why slides with notes are worth more.
"A textbook holds the facts. Your slides hold the craft of teaching them."

Can't find your answer? Email help@siennacrests.com and you'll hear back personally.
Who licenses the slides?
Large frontier AI labs, among other AI companies. They license lecture slides to understand your field better, and to understand how you teach what you teach. Every buyer signs a written licence.
What file types do you accept?
PowerPoint files (.ppt and .pptx), or a .zip folder of them, up to 50 files at a time and 500 MB each. We only use the PowerPoint files inside a .zip. Speaker notes are welcome and increase what each slide is worth.
How much will I earn?
$1.00 per accepted slide, or $1.50 for slides with speaker notes. For example, a professor with 100 decks of about 15 slides has around 1,500 slides. If about two-thirds are accepted, that's roughly $1,000–$1,500. Prices are indicative and may change with updated buyer quotes; we'll always let you know.
What happens after I upload?
We confirm receipt immediately. Within 48 hours, you'll receive an email with the quote range you can expect. We'll then keep you in the loop when the data buyer accepts the slides, and tell you when to expect payment.
How and when do I get paid?
Once the data buyer confirms your slides are approved, we'll ask for your preferred payment method. You'll be paid within 14 days of our receipt of the buyer's funds.
Is payment guaranteed?
No. We can't guarantee that a buyer will license your slides, and some slides may not meet the buyer's standards. What we guarantee is that when we're paid for your slides, you're paid too, and that you'll see every step.
Do I own my lecture slides?
At many US universities, faculty own their teaching materials, but policies differ. Please check your university's intellectual property policy. When you upload, you confirm that you have the right to license the slides.
What happens to my personal details?
Everything you upload is stored in a secured Google Cloud data centre in the United States, and only our team can access it. We use your details only to process your slides, keep you updated and pay you. We never sell them. See our privacy notice.
